Who's Matt?

With over 10 years of experience in Chinese Medicine, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to his practice. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and completed his Master’s in Acupuncture at the prestigious China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.

During his clinical placements at renowned hospitals like Guang’anmen and Dongzhimen in Beijing, Matt gained valuable experience supporting a wide range of conditions, including Bell’s palsy, shingles, migraines, insomnia, menstrual disorders, post-stroke recovery, and musculoskeletal concerns, using acupuncture and other therapeutic techniques.

After moving to Sydney, Australia, Matt broadened his expertise by working as a remedial massage therapist and fitness personal trainer before becoming a registered acupuncturist which was delayed due to the pandemic. These roles deepened his understanding of soft tissue health and inspired a holistic approach that combines his diverse therapeutic skills.

Matt tailors every treatment to address the root causes of health concerns. Depending on individual needs, he uses a combination of acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, infrared light therapy, electro-acupuncture, and millifire needle techniques to support your health journey in Sydney.

When he’s not helping clients, Matt enjoys staying active at the gym, sipping on a good coffee, and soaking up the sun at the beach.

Consultations are available in English, 한국어, and 中文.
